Have you ever wondered what life in a Bangladeshi village is like? Our 19. Immersive Cultural Workshops offer a unique opportunity to experience the rich culture and serene beauty of rural Bangladesh. Nestled in the heart of the village of Rosulpur, our workshops provide a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The soul of Bangladesh lies in its villages. These villages surprise visitors with their calmness, order, and relative peace. While there are activities in the fields, homes, schools, mosques, and temples, there is a different pace to village life compared to the busy cities.
Three-quarters of Bangladesh’s population live in rural areas. Families in these areas primarily rely on agriculture and fishing for their daily income. Our 19. Immersive Cultural Workshops allow you to experience this way of life firsthand.
A village homestay offers a deep insight into the life of a rural community. While sharing their hospitality, you are welcome to join their daily work in and around the house or in the fields. You can visit the local school, river, and lakes, and even try your luck at catching fish from the pond. Your host will facilitate communication with the villagers.
We arrange various specialty guided tours to visit ancient ruins, local farms, rivers, and small hills. The available activities and workshops allow you to do as much or as little as you wish.
Local cuisine is a highlight of our Village Homestay programs! Your meals will be a genuine feast of delicious Bangladeshi curries and fresh vegetable platters. We offer you the opportunity to join in the preparation of your meals and have a lesson in Bangladeshi cooking in a traditional setting.
