A village homestay offers a deep insight into the life of a rural community. While sharing their hospitality, you are welcome to join their daily work in and around the house or in the fields. Visit the local school, river, and lakes, and try your luck at catching fish from the pond. Your host will facilitate communication with the villagers.
You can do as much or as little as you want. The choice is yours!
Local cuisine is indeed a highlight of our Village Homestay programs! Your meals will be a genuine feast of delicious Bangladeshi curries and fresh vegetable platters. This charming village home is fully furnished and aesthetically decorated. It is ideal for a family on holiday or a single person on retreat. With rice paddy and village views, an enclosed vegetable garden, and a tiny fishpond, the house is a cozy and comfortable exotic home away from home.
For a different type of holiday away from big hotels in a beautiful Bangladeshi village, stay at our place with a complete kitchen and friendly family to share time with. Take a walk through the rice paddies and wander through the village.
Our home is in a rural Bangladesh style with some modern amenities. It features a comfortable living room, a pond with views of rice paddies, and vegetable gardens in the village. The queen-size bed is very comfortable with cushy pillows. The ensuite bathroom has a rain shower. You can watch farmers and herons in the rice fields and observe children playing rural games.
Our house is suitable for those who like to have a close encounter with nature and experience everyday rural village life.
On this day, we will pick you up from Saidpur or your address in Dhaka at 09:00 am. We will then proceed to start the day-long visit to your choice of place. You will first arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and then take an internal flight from Dhaka to Saidpur. We will pick you up from Saidpur. We will visit shops to buy some traditional Bangladeshi dresses and food of your choice. After that, we will drive for 80 minutes to Rosulpur village. We will stay overnight here and visit the nearby mosque, Sapnopuri, and Aftabgange mosque. Then, we will go to the village market and observe how Bangladeshi people spend their daily life in the village area.
